What is known
Brackenvice is a squat, upright garden worker whose face rises from a narrow stem of flesh into two heavy, hooded eye-plates, while branch-like feelers and little blossom clusters spread from either side of the head. Below that severe face, the body collapses into a dense skirt of hooked leaves or burr-like fronds that let it brace, shuffle and gather cuttings. In ordinary life it works as a root-bridge pruner and path-clearer in The Ravelgreen, spending its days teasing back aggressive growth, hauling trimmed vines into piles, and keeping negotiated spaces usable for people who would rather not lose a staircase to enthusiastic plant life.

- Reads as roughly person-sized but shorter than a tall adult if fully upright; the head is oversized relative to the neck, and the lower body is far wider than the torso, giving it a planted, low-centre-of-gravity build.
