Count Velis
A hovering, courtly oddity whose face is all watchfulness: unsettling at first glance, then strangely gentle once it stays still long enough to be read.

PUBLIC CHARACTER RECORD
What is known
A tall floating figure with an oversized domed head, a long central nose, huge glassy eyes and two obvious fangs peeking from a layered mouth. Its elegant cape hangs in petal-like points beneath a narrow throat and chest, so the whole body reads like a severe portrait that has come loose from the wall and learned how to drift.

NEARBY ON THE CURRENT SURVEY
The district does not end at this record.
These are geographic neighbours, not implied friends or allies.
A heavy, soft-bodied creature whose face seems built from worry, suspicion and reluctant endurance, yet whose presence feels more woundedly alert than truly hostile.
A compact, many-folded seer whose calm, watchful body feels built for stillness first and motion second.
A buoyant little aerial creature whose worried, wide-eyed face and tiered downy body make it seem perpetually startled by the world, even while it is quietly built to drift through it.

PHYSICAL RECORD
A presence before an explanation
- Silhouette
- Top-heavy and vertically arranged: a broad domed cranium, pendulous eye masses, a long nose, a pinched throat, then a flaring cape-body that ends in multiple curling points. It reads as a portrait bust extended into a hovering bloom.
- Scale
- Feels person-sized to slightly taller than a person, but visually elongated by the floating posture. The head is disproportionately large, the face compressed into stacked layers, and the lower body wider than the neck suggests, making it feel delicate at the center and grand at the edges.
- Material
- Velvet-fine skin with cooler mauve pigmentation concentrated in the folds, darker membranes beneath the cape points, and reflective eyes that catch light like polished jelly.
- Colour
- #D9C7D9, #A88FB0, #6E5A76, #342936, #F1E6EE
OCCUPATION & CHARACTER
Count
It looks predatory and intrusive, yet its strongest impulse is to behave with extreme care.
