What is known
Irix is a squat, symmetrical-looking but subtly uneven mystical being with tall ear-like horns, a stacked, mask-like face, and a single dark central eye set above a heavy lower body. In ordinary life, they work as a fog-reading observer and route advisor, spending long hours in a fixed perch studying shifts in air, moisture, and distant movement before quietly directing others toward safer timings and clearer paths. They are in their proposed place because their way of seeing is practical there, not ceremonial: people come to them when weather is becoming a problem.
